The film was produced at Camino Verde Reforestation Station, on the banks of the Tambopata River in Madre de Dios region of the Peruvian Amazon. The area is a living seed bank, and a hugely important buffer zone where endangered Amazonian plants and trees are given space and time to thrive. In this place is where spirits take the form of plants and plants act like spirits, pulling humans closer to their hidden world where our eyes cannot see the light that plants emit but its sparks pierce the mind beyond consciousness. In this place is where the rarest tree of the rainforest is found. It is a tree that is neither green nor visible during the day. It is a tree that mimics other trees and therefore can be seen but not remembered, and can be cut but not possessed.
